As one of the earliest founding schools with the most complete disciplines and strong faculties in Xi'an Jiaotong University, School of Energy and Power Engineering set up many fist majors in China, such as Boiler, Turbine, Automobile Manufacturing, Refrigeration and Cryogenics and Compressor and established the Discipline of Thermal Dynamics and Internal Combustion Engine. With nearly hundred year's history, particularly continuous support from the government in different stages, contributions and efforts by previous generations, we have made innovations and achievements in subjects of Energy and Power Engineering, Nuclear Science and Technology. We've always been in the frontiers of Higher Engineer Education in China and have made contributions in talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, economic development and national defense, advances in energy science and technology, the development of relevant sectors in the field of energy power. As the representative and influential school in Xi'an Jiaotong University and among universities across the country, School of Energy and Power Engineering is the base for talent training of energy power and science and technology as well as scientific research.
