报告摘要: In this talk, we present two different diffuse-interface models for complex gas-liquid-solid multiphase flows. In the first one, a novel free energy for the gas-liquid-solid multiphase flows is proposed according to a ternary phase-field model, and it not only contains the standard bulk and interface free energies for two-phase flows, but also includes some additional terms to reflect the penalty in the solid phase and the wettability on the solid surface. Furthermore, a smooth indicator function of the solid phase is also introduced in the Navier-Stokes equations to achieve a high viscosity in the solid phase and preserve the velocity boundary conditions on the solid surface. In the second one, the diffuse-domain method is adopted to formulate the diffuse-interface model based on the original sharp-interface model where the boundary conditions imposed on the complex boundary are treated as some source terms. With the help of asymptotic analysis, one can show that the second diffuse-interface model is consistent with the original sharp-interface model. Based on the proposed diffuse-interface models, the fluid interface dynamics, the fluid-structure interaction, and the wetting property of the solid surface can be described simply and efficiently. To test the present diffuse-interface models, we develop a diffuse-interface lattice Boltzmann method and conduct some simulations. The numerical results also confirm the good capability of the proposed diffuse-interface models and lattice Boltzmann method in the study of two-phase flows in complex geometries and gas-liquid-particle multiphase flows.


专家简介:柴振华,华中科技大学数学与统计学院教授,博士生导师,华中卓越学者特聘教授,国家级青年人才计划入选者。近年来,主要从事多相流问题的数学模型与介观格子Boltzmann方法研究,在J. Comput. Phys.、Multiscale Model. Simul.、Physica D、Phys. Rev. E、 SIAM J. Sci. Comput.等期刊发表学术论文150余篇,SCI他引3600余次。
