日本九州大学刘晓星博士讲座通知

报告摘要:Simulating fluid flow using meshless particle methods have been gaining interest of researchers in recent decades and moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method is one of the most popular particle methods. Despite of the successful development of MPS, there are several existing issues need to be addressed. In this talk, several recent developments in moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method are introduced. The developments include several modified schemes with enhanced accuracy and stability and a new surface tension model based on machine learning. Simulation results of both single- and multi- phase flows are shown to demonstrate the advantage of the enhanced MPS method.

报告人简介: Dr. Xiaoxing Liu, obtained the PhD of nuclear engineering in 2015 from Kyushu University in Japan, then worked as an academic research fellow since then in Kyushu University. His research fields include: particle-based meshless CFD simulation and its application in severer accident analysis in nuclear power plant.
