【Introduction】

The Summer Course on Advanced Accelerator Technologies and Applications will be delivered jointly by specialists from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Daresbury Laboratory (UK), The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Pakistan) and Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Russia). Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, early-career researchers and industrial practitioners worldwide, the course integrates theoretical lectures, cutting-edge experimental research and industrial applications, with the goal of cultivating high-end interdisciplinary talents with innovative thinking in accelerator science.

Comprising eight online lectures, the program is designed to boost international research collaboration and technology transfer. Distinguished scholars from Russia, the United Kingdom, Pakistan and China have been invited as instructors, and the curriculum covers case studies on the construction of world-class, large-scale scientific facilities including CERN’s Future Circular Collider (FCC) and China’s Accelerator-Driven Subcritical (ADS) system.

All students and teachers who are interested in nuclear energy and accelerator technologies are welcome!

Time: July 21-August 10, 2026 (detailed schedule to be announced separately)

Delivery Method: Online lecture series, delivered in English.

· Entry Requirement: Open to a wide variety of audiences, including undergraduates, graduates, researchers and engineers worldwide with an interest in particle accelerators, nuclear engineering, energy systems, or related disciplines.  

· Enrollment: Limited to 100 participants.

· Certificate: Participants who complete all lectures will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Xi'an Jiaotong University.
