Chunli Zheng, PhD in environmental engineering, doctoral supervisor, an associate professor in Xi’an Jiaotong University China. Prof. Zheng now is working in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, School of Energy and Power Engineering.
Prof. Zheng is experienced in course teaching and scientific research. She teaches Environmental Engineering Principle for master students and Environmental Ecology and global climatic change for bachelor students. Her research directions include (1) organic wastewater treatment; (2) sorption/desorption pollutants in soil; (3) soil remediation; and (4) synthesis of functional materials and their application. She has published more than 50 scientific papers indexed by SCI and been authorized more than 10 invent patents. She won the honorary titles of Outstanding Class Teacher in Xi’an Jiaotong University, Science and Technology Award in Shaanxi province second prize, and Outstanding contribution in reviewing, in recognition of the contributors made to the quality of the journal, Chemosphere.
Fobang Liu, associate professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Prior to that, he got his PhD at Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, and postdoc training at Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on understanding the health effects of ambient particulate matter. He got teaching experience in English during his PhD study and postdoc training.
Xinzhe li, associate professor, doctoral supervisor, and young talent of Xi’an Jiaotong University. Assoc. Prof Li mainly focuses on the controllable synthesis of inorganic functional nanomaterials (two-dimensional materials, single atom/single cluster catalysts, pure phase complex metal oxides, etc.) for high-value utilization of resource small molecules (water molecules, aromatic hydrocarbons, light alkanes, etc.). Assoc. Professor Li's goal is to address key scientific challenges in resource small molecule utilization by precisely regulating the geometric and electronic structure of nanomaterials. With the help of in situ aberrations corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy, in situ synchrotron radiation, scanning tunnelling microscopy, etc., Assoc. Professor Li elucidated the structural evolution of the catalysts in the real reaction condition and revealed the relationship between the geometric/electronic structure and the catalytic performance, which provides an important theoretical and scientific basis for the precise design, synthesis and regulation of catalysts. Assoc. Professor Li has published more than 40 papers in international famous academic journals, including Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., etc. The citation based on google scholar is more than 2000 times, h factor is 27.
