2024 Silk Road International Symposium on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application of Energy and Chemicals (SRISEC 2024), hosted by the Department of Education of Shaanxi Province and undertaken by Xi’an Jiaotong University, was held at the Iharbour. Focusing on international exchanges and cooperation in the field of energy and chemical engineering, the symposium, themed “Global Exchange and Cooperation on Future Energy and Chemical Engineering towards Carbon Neutrality,” aimed to provide a platform for domestic and international experts, scholars, and students in the field of energy and chemical engineering to share innovative ideas, promote communication of scientific and technological information, and advance international cooperation. The event was guided by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province. It attracted more than 200 participants, including experts and scholars, corporate representatives, Silk Road International Cooperation Mentors for Industry, University, Research and Application (IURA), and students from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the UAE, Brazil, South Africa, Hong Kong, China, and other regions, who attended both online and offline.
